Dear Blogbook!
2020, what a beautiful year to say.
Another decade has now passed and a new one has begun. But I’m not gonna sound too cliché I promise. Let’s recap 2019, shall we?
Let’s start off with the face that we ended last year with me being pregnant! How crazy was that?!
Started this year with a infection in my actual eyeball, so I don’t have the best of luck when it comes to starting new year’s.
We started 2019 with a trip to Malta with the fam. W O R S T trip ever! I was sick everyday, spent all day basically sleeping and was nauseous all the time. Other than that, I would love to return to the country during summertime, it’s gorgeous, that’s for sure!
I worked a lot and developed my love for baking! Or it got bigger is the right term.
I made my very first lasagna this year, which is crazy that I haven’t done before.
We saw our baby boy for the first time.
A lot of trips to my friend Nathalie who also had a baby this year, and she turned out to be a hell of a fighter, and I’m so proud of the little princess!
We saw our baby for the second time, and it turned out to be a boy, but we didn’t know that yet.
I made vanilla buns for the first time!
Spent a lot of time with my friends and made some new once that I think I’ll keep for the rest of my life!
We had a gender reveal party and found out that it was a boy.
My grandma passed away and my heart was broken.
Started doing lashlift, turned out it was more fun than I thought.
I worked out with mini and it was fun until I was in month 7, that’s when everything stopped being fun.
Had a beautiful baby shower! It was everything I ever wanted!
We moved into our apartment. Moving in two days when pregnant in month 7 is not easy, but we did it!
Celebrated my last birthday as just a wife. From now on I will be celebrating it as a mum as well.
The biggest thing this year is giving birth to our baby boy Elias Robert Malak.
Started university to become a dental nurse and has a couple of tests and thankfully they went well.
Had a couple of date nights with my love even though we have a little baby. Thanks to my family. Started working at a school, and it’s the best job I’ve ever had. I love my job!
Got new glasses, celebrated my husband’s first Father’s Day, and my dad as a grandpa.
Elias was on his first birthday party and slept through half of it.
We made Christmas cards with matching PJ’s and it was everything I ever wanted.
Got the best Christmas gifts from my family this year! So grateful!
Celebrated Elias first Christmas with the annual party, held at our house for the first time!
He also celebrated his first new years and LOVED the fireworks!
He’s made so much progress over these past 4 months, I can’t keep up! My little monkey!
So a lot of walks with the stroller, spending time with family and friends and just trying to make life work. A lot of firsts and a lot laughs!
My resolutions this year are:
Organizing,
Planning,
Consistency,
Get in better shape,
Take care of myself,
Prioritizing,
Grow in my faith,
Try to be more present,
Work towards having stuff done before hand so I don’t have to do it last minute,
Stress less,
Eat healthier and
Sleep more.
Elias resolutions are:
Sleep better,
Crawl,
Walk,
Talk,
Hold the bottle without any help,
Say my first words,
Eat solid food.
Here is to 2020 being even better!
