Dear Blogbook!
When I sat down to write this, I had a subject in mind. But as soon as I wrote the headline, I totally forgot what I was about to write about...
But, I was talking to my friend Hadil the other day, and we started talking about how to make sure the time is enough for everything you want to do. And I said priority, it's that simple. But then I told her about a video I saw about a woman changing her life in a very cleaver way. She counted down from 5.
You see, it takes 5 sec for the brain to start thinking about a thing. Take for example going to the gym, or just as simple as coming out of bed in the morning without hitting snooze first. You're brain will tell you to stay the extra 10 min, and go to the gym another day because of different excuses. But if you just get up AS SOON as the alarm goes off, without thinking things will get easier. The same with everything in life. You just got to go up and do it without thinking about it too much. So you can trick your brain by going up and doing something in less than 5 sec!
We also addressed the whole skinn problems, and we talked about the importance of having a good skincare routine! Remember it takes 4 weeks for something to become a habit. So get to know your skinn and what you need for it. And create a good, fast, easy, skinn care routine and stick to it! And don't forget to DRINK LOADS OF WATER! Believe me, it really does make a difference to your skinn!
And speaking of habits and 4 weeks, now that summer is here, many people still has a hard time accepting how they look. That they didn't get that "summer body" they wanted. Now I'm not going to say that you have to look a certain way to have a "summer body". But for your fitness goals, remember that is takes 4 weeks for you to notice a difference, 8 weeks for your close once and 12 weeks for everyone else to notice. So next time you put up a fitness goal, give it at least 12 weeks, and give it an honest shot. Many people don't stick it out, and therefor quit because they got bored and didn't get the results they wanted. So fight for 12 weeks and notice the difference and watch how the process of gym becomes a lifestyle more than "summer body" period.
Just some late night writing before bed.. After 200 squats, and 1h30 in the gym, a hot shower was well deserved. Now bed, tomorrow morning, work!
Take care of each other and be KIND!
Puss xx
